Motorola Defy Pro has finally made its entrance on the Canadian market. Major carrier Rogers has just announced the immediate availability of the smartphone for as low as $0.01 CAD with a new two-year agreement.

However, customers who do not wish to commit to a long-term contract can purchase the Defy Pro for $275 CAD (280 USD or 225 EUR) upfront.

The smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and packs a single-core processor clocked at 1 GHz. In addition, the device features a decent 2.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

Motorola Defy Pro is IP67 certified and sports a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

Keep in mind that the smartphone is currently available in Rogers’ brick and mortar stores and will soon go on sale online.
