Mobile phone Motorola is reportedly seeing delays in shipments of its Moto X and Moto G smartphones due to winter storms (Winter Storm Dion) that affect Fort Worth, Texas.

The company has already issued a statement on the matter, explaining that it's trying to get orders shipped as soon as possible, but that users might not receive their devices as fast as expected.

“Unfortunately a winter storm is causing hazardous conditions in Fort Worth, where our factory is located,” the handset vendor said, according to PhoneArena.

“Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our team members, as well as providing the highest level of service to our customers. We are taking steps to make up any lost time, but we anticipate some delays.”

Those who head over to the Moto Maker to grab a new device should already see that orders are being pushed back. Unfortunately, no official info on when the situation might be resolved has been provided as of now.
