Moto X, Motorola’s current flagship Android-based smartphone, will be released in various markets in Europe starting with February 1, the mobile phone maker has officially confirmed.

The same as in the UK, the handset will be sold through carriers and retailers, but no MotoMaker option will be available, at least not in the beginning.

Apparently, Motorola has already confirmed plans to bring the phone to shelves in France and Germany starting with the next month, with a price tag of €399 ($546) attached to it.

Users in Germany will be able to purchase the device next month via Phone House, O2, Amazon.de, Media Markt, Saturn, Expert, and Sparhandy.de, CNET reports.

Moto X will be released in Europe with all the features and capabilities it landed with in the United States and with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform version loaded on top.
