Mobile phone users in Australia can now purchase Moto G, Motorola’s latest Android-based smartphone, for only $249.95 (€165) via MobiCity.

The handset was made official in November last year, and it has already landed on shelves in various markets around the world.

MobiCity is offering the 8GB flavor of Moto G at the aforementioned price tag, which is said to be $50 (€33) lower when compared to the original price of the device.

The smartphone can also be seen in Telechoice’s offering, though it is priced at $279 (€184.5) at this retailer, as Ausdroid notes.

Moto G sports a 4.5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, and 1GB of RAM. The handset also packs a 5-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and HD video recording, as well as a 1.3MP front camera for video calling.
