14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of a Moto E smartphone can now head to online retailer Flipkart once again to grab the device.
The handset was confirmed a few days back to return to availability today, though users should know that only a limited number of devices was restocked.
According to Flipkart, only around 20,000 Moto E units were imported over the past few days and are now available for purchase. This means that those of you who are looking to buy the smartphone should hurry up, as it might sell out fast.
Moto E was made available once again at Flipkart in both Black and White flavors, with a price tag of Rs. 6999 ($120/€88) attached to it.
According to the retailer, those who will purchase the smartphone will receive it within the next 3 or 4 business days. However, users can also opt for faster delivery, should they want to get their ordered devices earlier.
Packing a 4.3-inch touchscreen display and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Moto E is the cheapest handset from Motorola at the moment. It also sports 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, and Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system loaded on top, along with dual-SIM capabilities.
The smartphone was initially released in India on May 14, but it was sold out in the first day of availability. It was put back on order for a short period of time, but it was listed as out of stock for the past week or so.
Update: The phone has already been sold out. However, Flipkart announced that it would be available again on May 29.
Update 2: Apparently, the phone is actually in stock, but the retailer is experiencing a series of technical issues due to the large number of orders it sees for the Moto E right now. The handset will be back online soon.
Update 3: Flipkart has resolved the aforementioned issues with its website, and the phone is up for grabs again. As mentioned above, however, only 20k units were made available today.
Update 4: Moto E is now listed as Out of Stock at Flipkart. The retailer claims that the handset will return to availability soon, but no specific details on when that might happen have been provided as of now.
