Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices will soon be able to enjoy a photo sharing service on their handsets, namely Molome, the company behind it has confirmed, only hours after rumors on its availability started to emerge.

According to WPCentral, the app will be available for all Windows Phone 8 handsets, not only Nokia’s Lumia phones, and will be fully-featured. A Windows Phone 7.8 flavor might also be launched.

The WP8 app iteration will feature HLSL (Shader support), so that users could apply filters to photos, as well as support for Lenses and in-app purchases.

The Molome app should land in beta soon, but no specific info on its full availability has been provided as of now. Hopefully, it won’t be long before it arrives, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
