The handset might be launched on China Mobil's network

Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new mid-range Android-based smartphone, one that features the model number HTC 608t.

The handset has emerged online with a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) touchscreen and with a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor packed inside, as well as with 1GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the new mobile phone is said to sport an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, complemented by a front camera for making video calls.

The phone’s specs list also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and the HTC Sense 5.0 UI loaded on top, a post on weibo unveils.

For the time being, however, no official info on the smartphone has been provided but, as Blog of Mobile notes, it might be launched on China Mobile’s network sooner rather than later.
