The application is already tested internally

We reported yesterday about Microsoft's upcoming Flow application for iOS, and now it looks like the first screenshots offering a glimpse at what's to come have just been leaked online.

According to Neowin, Flow is an email application with chat options, which makes it a hybrid. It will act like a companion app for email clients like Gmail and Outlook (possibly others, too).

Those who use Flow will be able to chat with anyone that has an email address. It looks like Flow will work on Exchange and all the conversations with your friends will be stored in Inbox, so you can search them for any info you might need.

Flow will use the email and current infrastructure to power the conversations with the purpose of removing dead times when we switch from email to chat.

We also know that Flow is currently tested internally by Microsoft, which means there's no ETA for its release yet. However, we do expect more details on Flow to emerge in the coming weeks.

Unfortunately, there is no information on a similar application for Android devices, so we must assume Microsoft plans to launch Flow only on iOS initially. Stay tuned for more on this one.
