Owners of Windows Phone handsets out there can now download and install updated versions of the Bing apps for their devices, as Microsoft has decided to update the entire suite of such mobile software.

The company has delivered refreshed flavors of its News app, Finance, Food & Drink, Health & Fitness, Sports, and Weather applications (all of them lost the “Bing” in their name a few months ago), but has not provided specific info on what was included in the new releases.

However, the updated flavors of these mobile clients should provide users with a series of bug fixes and performance improvements, as it usually happens when such small software refreshes are involved.

In addition to said software, Microsoft has also released a new version of the native Calendar application on Windows Phone 8.1 devices, also without offering details on what was included in it.

Over the past few months, Microsoft has been hard at work with the release of updated versions of its apps for Windows Phone, so as to ensure that users will receive a great experience from them.

The aforementioned Bing mobile software comes with support for all Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices, while the Calendar app is available only on the newer platform iteration. All of these mobile apps are available for download from Softpedia, via the links above.
