OneDrive is one of Microsoft’s most popular applications on the Android platform, with almost 50 million downloads on Google Play Store.

The app is the gate to Microsoft’s cloud service with the same name, which offers users free or paid cloud storage. If you want to manage or share both personal and work documents while on the move, OneDrive for Android is supposed to help make the experience smoother.

The application should allow you to automatically upload photos and videos directly to your OneDrive account using Camera backup. Search, select, and sort files and folders are some of the various actions that you can take advantage of while on the go.

The newest version of OneDrive for Google’s mobile platform brings some new features into the mix, as well as some improvements and bug fixes.

First and foremost, the latest update adds push notifications for shared files and folders, and it also enables thumbnails for OneDrive for Business files.

According to Microsoft, other bug fixes and stability improvements have been implemented in the update as well, but no additional details have been provided.

You can now download OneDrive for Android 2.9.3 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
