One day after announcing big changes to its storage offerings, Microsoft released new versions of OneDrive apps for Android and iOS platforms.

According to the devs, the new updates are meant to “help you do more from your phone and make it easier to get your photos (and videos) into OneDrive.”

Thus, Microsoft has confirmed that the Android version of OneDrive now comes with a new feature that will allow users to automatically upload their videos. This feature is enabled by default, so if you want to upload just photos, but not video, you won’t be able to do it.

In addition, the latest update for OneDrive brings a new in-app navigation drawer for better integration with Android OS, which provides users with the option to switch between pivots. Devs have added the ability to pull to refresh.

Also, there’s a new dedicated search button that can be used to search for specific files, “this will help users stay productive while on the go and let them easily view their videos on their other devices – such as their Xbox at home.”

You can now download OneDrive for Android for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.
