Last week Microsoft released a new application for Windows Phone and Android devices, which allows users to create smooth and stabilized time lapses from first-person videos.

Dubbed Hyperlapse Mobile, the application is already available for download on Windows Phone Store, the Android users will have to wait a little bit longer since the application is now in beta.

Anyway, it looks like it's been less than a week since the Windows Phone application was announced, and Microsoft has already released Hyperlapse Mobile's first update.

The first update for Hyperlapse Mobile doesn't bring any new features or improvements. Instead, Microsoft has decided to address some of the issues users reported in the little time since the app's release in Windows Phone Store.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Hyperlapse Mobile for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8.1.

Keep in mind that not all Lumia smartphones are compatible with Microsoft's Hyperlapse technology. Here is the full list of supported devices: Lumia 435, Lumia 530, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 630, Lumia 635, Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 730, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, Lumia 930, Lumia 1520, and HTC One M8.
