14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft made quite a lot of buzz last year with its “Smoked by Windows Phone” campaign in which it showed how well devices powered by its mobile operating system could fare when compared to those running under rival platforms, and it has released a TV ad for that.
In the 30-second clip, which can be seen embedded above, Microsoft’s Ben Rudolph shows how a Nokia Lumia 920 can “smoke” a Samsung Galaxy S III when it comes to taking photos in low-light conditions.
“A new spot that pits the Nokia Lumia 920’s PureView camera head-to-head against the Samsung Galaxy SIII will run on ESPN and CBS throughout the men’s and women’s NCAA tournament,” Ben Rudolph notes in a post on Microsoft’s official blog.
Microsoft has included Windows Phone 8 handsets in said Windows Phone Challenge, as one can see on the Windows Phone channel on YouTube.
