Two new commercials are now being aired in the US

It looks like Microsoft is determined to bring the battle between Cortana and Siri to a whole new level, as the Redmond-based company has just released two new ads that highlight some of the features the former service offers and the latter lacks.

Microsoft released numerous Cortana vs. Siri commercials in the last couple of months, and while they were funny in the beginning, they now seem a bit forced.

It’s true that Cortana is much, much better than Siri, which is why Microsoft should start making comparisons with a more competitive rival.

Anyway, the two commercials that are now being aired in the United States, “Remind Me” and “Lost,” show how Cortana can notify users of driving times for an appointment in the calendar and how it can alert you to do something when a certain person calls you (use sick voice when speaking with your boss).

Obviously, these features are missing in Siri, which is not surprising considering that Apple’s personal digital assistant is pretty basic when it comes to integration with apps and OS.

Even though they’re hilarious, I think people are tired of seeing basically the same thing week after week. Do you think Microsoft should continue to publish these Cortana vs. Siri ads, or they should start focusing on something else?
