Micromax has some appealing new devices up its sleeve for users in India, and one of them appears to be the Micromax Bolt A075, which has just been listed online on Homeshop 18 with a price tag of Rs. 6,499 attached to it.

Judging by the cost that this phone will employ, it will be released in the country as a new entry-level smartphone from Micromax, though the specs list that was attached to it looks at least interesting.

For example, the handset will land in users’ hands with a 5.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a WVGA resolution, while being powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, as micromaxcanvas.co.in notes.

What’s more, the new mobile phone features 512MB of RAM, along with 4GB of internal memory, which were somehow expected, considering its price range. The device also comes with a microSD memory card slot, with support for up to 32GB of external storage.

On the back, Micromax Bolt A075 features an 8-megapixel camera, which might actually allow users to record videos in HD resolution. A VGA camera for video calling was also included.

The handset is powered by a 2200 mAh battery and runs under Google’s Android 4.0.3 operating system, which is rather old. However, the company might actually release an OS upgrade for the phone sometime in the future.
