A few weeks ago, mobile phone maker Micromax officially confirmed plans to release the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system for some of its devices, and it seems that it is already testing it on the Canvas HD A116 smartphone.

The handset vendor said last month that it planned on making the OS upgrade available to its users sometime in the fourth quarter of the year, but no specific info on when that might happen has been provided as of now.

A screenshot that supposedly confirms the development of an Android 4.3 upgrade for the aforementioned smartphone has been posted online, and can be seen attached to this blog post.

Users might also want to know that Micromax has confirmed the platform upgrade for other handsets in its lineup as well, including its latest flagship, the Canvas 4 A210.
