14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of the Micromax A116 Canvas HD smartphone in India can have their handsets upgraded to the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system so as to get a taste of the features and enhancements it has been designed with.
Unfortunately, the update is not available over-the-air, which means that users will need to head over to a service center near them to have their devices upgraded.
However, it seems that Micromax has included support for OTA upgrades inside the new software release, and that future updates might arrive this way, as AndroidOS notes.
As part of the new software release, users will also receive panorama shot capabilities, quick toggles to notification panel, performance enhancements, and more.
