Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices will be able to take advantage of a new MetroTube application in the not too distant future.

LazyWorm Apps, the company behind the software, has just announced that it will deliver a new, updated software version to Microsoft’s latest mobile OS flavor, and that new features will be included in it.

Among them, we can count support for different live tile sizes, along with the option to pre-load videos to watch when off-line. WMPoweruser notes that the company has had access to the Windows Phone 8 SDK for quite some time now, which suggests that the updated app might arrive in the Windows Phone Store sooner rather than later.
