Maxthon Arrives on Windows Phone

The new version features Landscape view, intelligent address bar, more

Chinese developer Maxthon has just released a new version of its browser in Windows Phone Store, which promises to bring lots of new features and improvements.

First of all, Maxthon users will be pleased to know that they will now be able to view website in portrait or landscape orientation. The developers have just confirmed that they have added landscape view, which can be enabled by rotating the screen.

Another new feature introduced in the latest version of Maxthon is called “intelligent address bar” and allows the browser to automatically make suggestions to users as they start typing in the address bar.

There’s also a new Incognito mode, which allows users to visit websites without leaving a trace. New settings have been included, which provides users with the option to adjust settings for a smoother browsing experience.

With the latest version of Maxthon, users will be able to Pin pages to Start screen. Last but not least, some under the hood changes enable a faster startup for the application.

New users can now download Maxthon for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind that the mobile browser is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
