Maluuba has been tagged as a pretty competitive alternative to Apple’s Siri voice assistant. The Android application was launched on Google Play Store a few months ago and already has more than 100k downloads.

Maluuba, creator of the Android voice assistant, has just release a new version of the application which promises even more features.

The latest version of Maluuba comes with shopping suggestions, allowing users to ask queries such as “I want to buy a pair of jeans” or “Can you show me Nike shoes?” or “I'd like to buy a laptop that costs around $500.”

According to developers, shopping queries are now available for a wide range of stores, including JC Penney, Aldo, eBay and Amazon.

Maluuba 1.2.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3.3 and up. Check it out here.
