The latest update mostly includes bug fixes and improvements

J2 Interactive, creators of MX Player, one of the popular video players for Android devices, have just released a new update, which fixes some of the issues reported by users.

But the update also brings improvements to the application. In this regard, developers have confirmed they have increased the maximum subtitle file size to 5MB. Aside from that, the update includes the following bug fixes:

- Fixed HE-AAC audio playback error in some condition; - Fixed to hide Kindle Fire HD 7 navigation bar with input locked; - Fixed seeking error with some audio files; - Fixed media file scan failure on some JB devices.

MX Player 1.7.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
