Only last week, wireless carrier Orange announced a partnership with Japanese handset vendor Fujitsu for the launch of a smartphone for senior users, dubbed Stylistic S01, and we have had the chance to take a closer look at it during MWC 2013 in Barcelona.

The handset will land on shelves at Orange sometime in the second quarter of the year with a 4-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a WVGA resolution, as well as with a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor inside.

The smartphone also sports 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot to expand it, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a front camera for making video calls.

Fujitsu loaded Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on Stylistic S01 along with various interface tweaks to make it easier to use for older people with little knowledge about smartphones.
