Alcatel One Touch Fire was only one of the smartphones that mobile phone maker Alcatel has brought to the floor at MWC 2013 in Barcelona, with the One Touch Scribe HD being one of the devices that Softpedia had the chance to see at the event.

Packing a large IPS 5-inch screen capable of delivering a 720p resolution, the smartphone features Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system running on its 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

The smartphone is not high-end, but it does pack appealing specs, such as the 8MP photo snapper on the back, the HD front camera, or the smart handwriting recognition capabilities that Alcatel loaded it with. The phone also sports 1GB of RAM, 4G of end-user memory, microSD memory card slot, a 2,500 mAh battery inside, and support for 42mbps 3G connectivity. It will arrive on shelves in black, red, white and yellow flavors.
