A 5-inch full HD handset paired with a 10.1-inch tablet PC

Today, computer maker ASUS unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the new PadFone Infinity smartphone-tablet PC combo, with Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top, and with appealing performance capabilities courtesy of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor.

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD screen, 441ppi, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of memory, and 100Mbit/s LTE and 42Mbit/s DC-HSPA+ connectivity capabilities.

Furthermore, the PadFone Infinity was unveiled with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with 1080p Full HD video recording, SuperNote 3.1 for note taking, and a battery that can deliver up to 19 hours of 3G talk time.

It is complemented by a 10.1-inch tablet, the PadFone Infinity Station, which can recharge the docked PadFone Infinity up to three times.

The ASUS PadFone Infinity and Infinity Station will arrive in the UK at £799 ($1,200 / €910) (inc VAT), in April.
