Packing a 4.5-inch HD screen, it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

One of the Android-based devices that Chinese mobile phone maker ZTE brought to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was the ZTE PF112, a device that runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

The smartphone packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, along with a 4.5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) touchscreen display on the front.

Unfortunately, no specific info on the handset’s processor was unveiled, though some suggest it would be a Snapdragon S4 chip.

On the back, the new device features an 8-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, LED flash and HD video recording capabilities. It also has a 2MP camera on the front.

In addition to HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps connectivity, the new device also packs Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS receiver, Stereo FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, UMA and microUSB (MHL) v2.0, all in a handset that measures only 130 x 66 x 8.5 mm.
