The Lumia Cyan OS upgrade is now available for download for the owners of Nokia Lumia 520 smartphones in 25 countries across Europe, it seems.

The software update arrives on devices with the Windows Phone 8.1 platform release inside, but also includes a variety of other enhancements, designed specifically for Nokia’s Lumia smartphones.

Lumia Cyan started to arrive on handsets last month, but it reached Lumia 520 users only a few weeks ago.

As WMPoweruser points out, it is now available for download in 25 European countries across 30 wireless carriers, while also being put up for grabs for the country variants of the device.

The latest territories in Europe to have received the update are Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovenia, though it might not be too long before it reaches the entire old continent.

The OS upgrade is also available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Lumia Cyan is rolling out over the air, which means that users will receive a notification when it arrives on their devices, and they will be able to grab the software refresh immediately.

As part of the update, they will receive improvements such as Action Center, Internet Explorer 11, File Manager, World Flow, VPN enhancements, Start Screen backgrounds, better performance capabilities, and more.
