Owners of a Nokia Lumia 521 smartphone on the network of wireless carrier T-Mobile in the United States will soon get the chance to taste the enhancements that were included in the Lumia Black software update, it seems.

Nokia’s Lumia Black software update webpage has already been changed to reflect the fact that the release will arrive on this smartphone soon, though no specific info on when that should happen has been provided as of now.

As WPCentral notes, Lumia 521 is the only Nokia smartphone in the United States not to have received the Lumia Black update, through it appears that this will change in the near future.

However, users will still have to wait a few days before the new platform release is pushed to their handsets, that’s for sure.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Lumia Black arrives on devices with the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 platform release packed inside, as well as with various enhancements coming from Nokia themselves.

Among these, we can count an improved Glance Screen, along with the option to customize tones, close apps from the multi-tasking view, and more. Stay tuned to learn more on the availability of this software update for the Nokia Lumia 521.
