One of the most popular antivirus application for Android devices, Lookout has been recently updated with a new feature especially aimed at Samsung Galaxy S III owners.

Earlier last week, rumors on Samsung Galaxy S III getting remotely wiped made headlines, though Lookout Mobile Security was unable to simulate this issue.

Nevertheless, the security company decided to update its Android application with the ability to scan dialer links for malicious MMI codes that could delete user’s data or reset their phone.

In addition, the latest version of the application comes with updated code and UI references from mylookout.com to the official, new Lookout website, lookout.com. Last but not least, several bug fixes have been included as well.

Lookout Security & Antivirus 7.21 is now available as free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
