Although Lookout Security & Antivirus is available for free from Google Play Store, those who need extra-protection will probably want to purchase the paid app, which offers much more features.
With the latest update, developers have introduced one more option for Lookout Mobile Premium users. It looks like those who pay for the security application will now be able to add a custom message to the lock screen to better communicate with anyone who finds their lost phone.
Developers have also confirmed that the update includes some performance enhancements to Security scan time, but no other details have been given.
Lookout Security & Antivirus 8.5 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.5 and up. Check it out here.
