Lookout Mobile Security has just released a new update for their popular Android application, which promises to fix some minor bugs.

Although it does not come with any new features or improvements, the latest version of Lookout Security & Antivirus is more stable than previous iterations.

According to developers, users who own devices powered by Android Jelly Bean may see a new request for permission to access Call Logs.

This has been added in order to fix a call log back-up issue for these devices. Other minor bug fixes that have been included in the latest update have yet to be detailed by developers.

Lookout Security & Antivirus 8.6 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.5 and up. Check it out here.
