Lenovo has recently confirmed that new Motorola handsets will grace the market in the upcoming months, but as it turns out, the company is also working on new smartphones of its own.

For example, the Chinese device maker seems to be working towards a huge phablet that is probably destined to take on the likes of Huawei P8 Max.

The phone has just been spotted going through the Chinese regulatory agency TEENA, so we can be pretty sure it will be launched on the market at some point (as reported by Mobile Dad).

The new device was revealed with model number PB1-770N and features a design similar to Apple’s iPhone 6 models. It comes with a full-metal style body, but a piece of plastic lives near the rear camera in order to improve the antenna’s stability and power.

Just like the Huawei P8 Max, the new Lenovo phone will arrive with a huge 6.8-inch display and we won’t be surprised if the company puts at least a FHD panel on it.

We’re also told the smartphone relies on a 3,500 mAh battery, bundles 4G LTE support, dual SIM standby, Beidou GPS support and the most recent Android operating system, probably Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The TEENA listing doesn’t offer any more information related to specifications, but as soon as we know more, we’ll let you know.
