The Android handset features voice unlock, dual-SIM

A new Android-based smartphone from Lenovo is now official in China, namely the LePhone A586, which sports voice unlock and Baidu Cloud.

The handset is said to arrive on shelves with a 4.5-inch touchscreen capable of delivering an 854 x 480 pixel resolution, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8225 processor inside.

The phone also sports 512MB of RAM, while packing 4GB of internal memory and a 1700mAh battery inside. On the back, the new Lenovo LePhone A586 sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper.

Lenovo also packed the smartphone with dual-SIM and dual-standby mode, as well as with the aforementioned voice unlock with Speaker Verification Technology.

The handset is expected to arrive on shelves in the country on December 10, 2012, with a price tag of RMB 999 ($160 / €123) attached to it.
