LG Optimus 3D is one of the smartphones that should soon receive an update to the newer Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS (after being released on shelves with Android 2.2 on board), and a leaked Android 2.3.5 ROM for it has just emerged into the wild.

The guys over at XDA found a leaked ROM for this device and took it for a spin, only to find out that it packs a various improvements for the phone's owners.

Among these, we can count the ability to edit 2D and 3D videos, complemented by the ability to convert 3D to 2D videos, and increased bitrates for 3D videos .

Moreover, the new ROM will also enable the device to deliver HSPA+ connectivity to its users, with speeds that can reach up to 21Mbps. Those who would like to learn more on this should head over to this thread on the XDA-Developers forum.
