Sony’s next flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z3, has been caught on camera a couple of times, but we have never had the chance to see the insides of the phone.

Not that that’s very important, but for the tech savvy this could be crucial in determining if the Xperia Z3 is the smartphone they want for the next months or years.

The good news is that XperiaBlog has just published a dozen of Sony Xperia Z3 live pictures received from a tipster who apparently has access to a prototype.

As shown in them, the Xperia Z3 strongly resembles the previous flagship smartphones, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

One of the differences between the Xperia Z2 and the upcoming Z3 could be the fact that the latter is powered by a 3,100mAh battery, while the former comes with a slightly better 3,200mAh battery.

Sony Xperia Z3 is expected to pack a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as a powerful 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Just like the previous flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z3 will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Obviously, the high-end device will also offer a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

Keep in mind that the info on Xperia Z3 specs sheet is based on the latest leaks, so take it with a grain of salt until Sony reveals the official stats.
