Lava Mobiles has recently confirmed that it is working on a new tablet that will run Google’s latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

As AndroidOS points out, this would be the second tablet in India coming with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform out of the box, after Nexus 7, which is powered by the same operating system.

While the Indian company did not reveal the size of the display, it did mention that the mysterious tablet would be equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

In addition, Lava’s Android 4.2 tablet will pack a 2-megapixel rear photo snapper, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera. It will also feature Wi-Fi and HDMI post, along with a 3,700 mAh battery.
