Indian company Lava Mobiles has just confirmed it will launch its first Android table to support 3G and voice calling.

According to fonearena, the tablet will be available in India in the coming weeks for a price that will be announced closer to launch.

The yet unnamed tablet will sport a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with support for 480 x 800 pixels resolution as well as dual cameras (2-megapixel rear photo snapper and VGA front-facing camera).

On the inside, Lava’s 3G tablet will be packed with a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Sadly, the tablet will not be powered by Jelly Bean platform; instead, Lava opted for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
