Mobile software developer NAVER has just updated its amazingly popular LINE application for Android devices.

The main reasons LINE is one of the most downloaded apps on Google Play store is the fact that it allows users to make free voice calls.

In addition, LINE for Android enables users to send SMS for free, whenever they want, while on the move. The latest version comes with a few new features and improvements that promise a more streamlined experience for users.

First of all, devs have added a function that allows users to include and invite friends from Facebook to LINE. Furthermore, a new settings option to change the quality of sent photos has been added as well.

NAVER also claims that it has improved the privacy settings within the Timeline and included several minor bug fixes, which have yet to be detailed.

LINE 3.3.1 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
