Today, Japanese mobile chat company LINE announced that their mobile application would become available for download for Nokia’s Asha handsets as soon as next month.

No specific info on when the app will become available has been provided as of now, but the company did confirm that it will be released in a handful of countries.

“We have teamed up with Nokia to make LINE available on Nokia’s reasonably priced Asha devices soon in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thai, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia,” the company notes in a blog post.

LINE will arrive on Nokia’s mobile phones with 1 to 1 chat features, as well as with 4 types of sticker sets (Moon, Cony, brown and James), the company also said. Further info will be unveiled closer to availability.
