South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to be among the companies set to unveil to the world new full HD touchscreen displays at the upcoming 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The company is said to plan showcasing its own 5.5-inch 1080p screen at the event, capable of delivering a 403ppi pixel density, after Samsung has been also rumored to plan a similar move.

Furthermore, the handset vendor is reportedly aiming at bringing to the floor at CES 2013 a 7-inch screen aimed at tablet PCs, capable of delivering a 1920 x 1200 resolution and 324ppi pixel density.

LG is also said to plan showcasing a new 4.7-inch screen for smartphones, one that would be accompanied by a 1mm thin bezel. A series of larger screens will also be present at LG’s booth at CES 2013, it seems.
