South Korean mobile phone makers LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics are reportedly engaging in a feud over the recently announced eye-tracking technology inside their flagship Android smartphones.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Samsung announced the technology inside its new GALAXY S 4 smartphone, and that LG too unveiled plans to deliver it to Optimus G Pro soon, in the form of a software update.

According to a recent article on Yonhap News, the two mobile phone giants might start a patent war over the technology, which was meant to enable users to control some aspects of their devices with their eyes.

The feature will arrive on the market as soon as next month, when Optimus G Pro will receive it via said update, and when GALAXY S 4 finally reaches shelves around the world.
