The Optimus L7 was officially launched on the market back in May, and is now available for purchase worldwide. However, the smartphone can only be purchased in black and white.

This is about to change, as the folks over at Blog of Mobile have just spotted the LG Optimus L7 in pink. Word is that the pink-themed Optimus L7 will be initially launched in Taiwan, but it might be rolled out in additional countries soon afterwards.

The Optimus L7 is powered by Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and packs a 1 GHz single-core processor, which is complemented by 512MB of RAM and an Adreno 200 GPU.

There's also a 5-megapixel camera on the back, which features LED flash, autofocus and video recording, as well as a secondary front-facing camera for video calls. Pink Optimus L7 is expected to go on sale sometime this month.
