The handset will enjoy global availability, LG announced

LG’s affordable Optimus L3 II smartphone is set to become available for purchase worldwide in the near future, after being released in Brazil this week, LG has announced.

The smartphone is expected to land on shelves in various markets, including some in South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

“The Optimus L3 II is a versatile phone for the smart and stylish individual,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

Running under Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform, the smartphone sports a compact design, with a 3.2-inch QVGA display on the front, 512MB RAM, 4GB of memory, and a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

According to LG, the Optimus L3 II smartphone will be released in both single-SIM and dual-SIM flavors.
