Next month, the world will get a taste of the processing power of LG’s first smartphone to be powered by a quad-core application processor, the LG Optimus 4X HD.

Made official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Android-based device promises great performance capabilities, along with appealing graphics and fast speeds, all packed inside a slim and attractive outer design.

This is exactly what the first video ad that LG released for the smartphone suggests, explaining what the “4X” stands for.

In handset vendor’s opinion, the LG Optimus 4X HD can deliver “eXcellent Performance”, “eXceptional Display”, and “eXquisite Design.” Thus, the phone is “Beyond eXpectation.”

Overall, the new smartphone seems highly appealing, and its initial benchmarking results proved that it is indeed capable of outstanding performance, just as LG claims it would be.
