South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market a new flagship Android-based device in the coming months, in the form of LG G3, and it seems that a mini version of the phone is also in the works.

The handset has recently emerged online in a leaked document and appears set to make an official appearance on shelves at AT&T in the not-too-distant future.

Moreover, said leaked document shows that the handset sports the codename B2 mini and that it also packs model number LG D725.

As GSMArena notes, the aforementioned leaked document with the device has also unveiled the fact that it will arrive on shelves with a 720p touchscreen display, though no specific info on the size of the panel has been provided as of now.

At the same time, the leaked document shows that LG G3 mini might come up with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, capable of shooting photos of up to 3264 x 2248 pixel resolution.

The upcoming mini handset is also expected to arrive on the market with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top, as well as with the Optimus UI.

Apparently, AT&T won’t be the only carrier to add the new device to its offering, as Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint will also launch it, with model numbers VS985 4G, LG D851 and LG LS 990 attached to it, respectively.
