South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is reportedly getting ready to change the name of yet another family of devices, more exactly the LG Vu series.

Last year, the company decided to remove the “Optimus” name from its smartphone lineup, which resulted in its phones being promoted as G, F, and L series, and it seems that it won’t stop there.

According to a recent report coming from infamous tipster @evleaks, the LG Vu smartphones will be known as G Stylus handsets moving forth, and one such phone is getting ready to become official shortly.

The smartphone has been already spotted only with model number D693 attached to it, in a User Agent Profile on LG’s own website, though little is known on what it will have to offer its users for the time being.

As mylgphones points out, the handset will arrive on shelves as LG G3 Stylus, and will sport a qHD (540 x 960 pixels) touchscreen display, though info on its size is not available as of now. However, we do know that the phone will sport 3G HSPA connectivity inside.

By the looks of it, LG might actually make the new mobile phone official in the near future, which means that it won’t be long before all the necessary details on the matter go official, so stay tuned to learn the news.
