Surprisingly, LG is one of the few companies that announced and already delivered the Android 5.0 Lollipop major OS update to at least one of its products.

Motorola and Google did the same thing and Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Motorola Moto X (2014) owners are now enjoying the Material Design experience thanks to the Android 5.0 Lollipop update received recently.

However, LG only delivered the Lollipop upgrade for the G3 in Poland, and announced that a worldwide rollout would begin at a later date.

Well, it looks like the next country where Android 5.0 Lollipop for LG G3 should arrive is South Korea. Customers in LG's home country will be able to enjoy the same advantages as G3 owners living in Poland, by the end of this month.

According to GforGames, LG has just confirmed the G3 smartphone purchased through any of the three major carriers in the country, LG U+, SK Telecom and Korea Telecom, will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop by the end of this week, which coincides with the end of the month.

There are no details on what country LG will target next for the rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop for G3, but we suspect more info will emerge in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
