Tomorrow, on August 7, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is set to make official its next Android-based flagship, namely the LG G2, and rumor has it that it might go up for sale in South Korea as soon as the next day.

LG already has a history of releasing new smartphones in South Korea first and it seems that G2 will follow the same pattern, a recent article on MK News reads.

However, the new device should reach other markets around the world in the not too distant future, since it is expected in the United States on the networks of AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint, as well as at NTT Docomo in Japan, as UnwiredView notes.

Rumor has it that LG will make the handset available in North America and Europe in September, with other markets to follow before the end of October.
