LG announced that it would offer the long-awaited Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade for the G2 in Q1 2014. This means the South Korean company has until the end of March to release the major update.

Well, it appears that Android 4.4 KitKat for LG G2 is already available for download for some users, Phonearena reports. According to a tipster who also sent a screenshot as proof, the highly anticipated update is now available in South Korea.

The screenshots shows that you can now switch between Dalvik and ART (Android Run Time) for a smoother experience with the Android applications.

We suggest LG G2 owners to take this info with a grain of salt until the South Korean handset maker confirms it has started the rollout of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. Stay tuned for info on the matter.
