A new software update is currently rolling out to the owners of LG G2 smartphones on the network of wireless carrier Sprint in the United States.

The release notes available on Sprint’s support website confirm fixes for Google Hangouts related to VM and MMS, as well as the fact that Sprint Spark icons will be enabled after the installation.

Pushed to devices as version ZVA, the new update is also meant to enable BC 26 and 41, which actually means that the phone will be able to connect to Sprint Spark's LTE bands 26 and 41, as AndroidPolice notes.

Sprint also notes that the update will be released in stages, which means that some users might not receive it right from the start, but that they might have to wait for a few days for it to arrive. Once the update is available, a notification will pop up on the screen to inform users on that.
