Rumor has it that LG plans to launch its first curved smartphone, the G Flex outside South Korea as soon as possible. For the time being, the handset maker has confirmed that the curved smartphone will be launched in South Korea next month.

However, RootzWiki reports that sources close to the matter claim that Sprint and LG are already in talks to bring the G Flex curved smartphone in the United States.

Unfortunately, there’s no telling how reliable the leaked info is, so take it with a grain of salt and file it under rumors.

The LG G Flex features a larger 6-inch curved display that supports HD (720p) resolution. The phone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a curved, non-removable 3500 mAh Li-Ion battery. Stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
